Spring break is here, and it's time for our students to embark on exciting adventures! Let's delve into the highlights of this week's activities:
Artistic Endeavors: In our art sessions, we've been molding clay into special plates, honing our shaping skills, and exploring symmetrical designs. Working in a dedicated art studio has expanded our creative horizons, providing us with more tools and time to express ourselves artistically.
Literary Journeys: From concluding our book reports on "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" to diving into the world of "Heidi," we're experiencing diverse reading and writing styles while delving into character development.
Athletic Adaptations: Due to weather changes, indoor basketball games have been a blast, allowing us to enhance our skills. After the break, we're gearing up for an exhilarating skiing adventure, anticipating warmer weather and memorable moments on the slopes.
Mathematical Explorations: We're deepening our understanding of percentages through real-world problem-solving and recently aced a significant test. Next, we'll tackle statistics and progressively challenging word problems.
Robotics Adventures: Engaging in the game "Mastermind," we've programmed robots to recognize and recall color sequences—a thrilling exercise in problem-solving and teamwork.
Constitutional Studies:
Halfway through memorizing the first ten amendments, our Constitution class is both enriching and enjoyable. Exploring laws, their formulation, editing process, and voting procedures has been enlightening.
