In our reading journey with "Call it Courage," the protagonist Mafatu faces the challenges of surviving a storm and being stranded on an island. The central question lingers: Will he develop the courage to endure? Mathematics took center stage as we continued our exploration of fractions. Creativity took a tactile form in our art class as we started working with clay. From forming bowls to ensuring a crack-free finish, students used their hands to gently mold and stretch the clay. Tools were employed to smooth the exterior, creating beautiful, mark-free creations.
Zion Adventure: Scaling Heights with Via Ferrata
Our Zion Adventure took us to new heights – quite literally! Scaling the Via Ferrata, with steel rungs up the side of a cliff, 120 feet in the air, was an exhilarating experience. Rappelling, climbing, and hiking against the backdrop of stunning scenery and great weather made it a truly amazing adventure.
