Student handbook
The shared commitments that help a small cohort learn, work, and grow well together.
Revised July 2026
What families can expect
Learning commitment
Students arrive prepared, participate fully, complete assigned work, and ask for help when they need it.
Respect and belonging
Kindness is required. Bullying, intimidation, harassment, and deliberate exclusion are not compatible with the cohort.
Parent partnership
Parents stay responsive to communication, support assignments and routines at home, and participate occasionally in projects, trips, or school needs.
Continued enrollment
The school works with families when concerns arise. Repeated bullying, refusal to complete work, or unwillingness to learn may result in dismissal.
Student support
Zion Academy welcomes families to apply. The school is a small general-education program without on-site special-education specialists or therapy services. Support needs are discussed openly during admissions.
